D'ORO Collection starts 2023 by participating in Maison&Objet, the prestigious trade show taking place in Paris from January 19 to 23.
Our Publishing House will be one of the Italian brands exhibiting in the Signature area - an area dedicated to research, excellence and design.
Art and culture: this is the message we want to convey as is clear from the choice of the books on display.
Our books originate from the rediscovery and revamping of the ancient Italian bookbinding techniques that are quite close to art and really important from a cultural point of view.
The volumes that shine on the shelves are really impactful in their gilded covers. They are the result of the meticulous work done by our craftsmen and masters using ancient tools. These artworks originate from the desire to preserve the somehow lost poetic professions that have been handed down from generation to generation, and are part of Italy's cultural heritage.
The Golden Horses, one of our iconic books, will also be on display. Visitors will be able to leaf through it to admire the gold frames that adorn every single page. Such frames are made of pure gold applied with the ancient egg-white technique, alternating with beautiful full-page painted horses.
Modern, cutting-edge bronze and gold sculptures embellish the covers of DNA Lamborghini II Edition to echo the lines of the super sports cars and to reproduce the unique Raging Bull emblem. The covers of these limited and numbered edition volumes are made of carbon fiber and the pages are in handcrafted cotton paper. The leather spine is customizable with the colors of Lamborghini.
Maison&Objet will be the first 2023 event where we will take a piece of Italy around the world, through books that become works of art.
A cultural luxury that once again takes shape between design, history, tradition and innovation.
