2022: Exactly three years after its launch we have published the Second Edition of DNA Lamborghini, the Official Book of Automobili Lamborghini.

D'ORO Collection and Automobili Lamborghini present the Second Edition of DNA Lamborghini to collectors and enthusiasts, with expanded and updated contents in an even more limited edition: 150 numbered copies that can be personalized on request with the owner’s name initials and the super sports car VIN - the unique chassis number that distinguishes each Lamborghini car.

DNA is about the history of Lamborghini from the establishment of the Sant'Agata plant to the present day. Many cars are presented, one by one, following the spirit and concept with which they were created. First, the 1963 models of pride - the first in history to feature the Bull as their brand name - then the models which brought Ferruccio to success, including the legendary Miura, and then many more until the present day, including the futuristic versions at the turn of the last century and Countach LPI 800-4, a true symbol of innovation.

A succession of colorful images accompanies the texts describing the background of each car and the tables containing the technical details to compare the different models.

The book has revamped its look, becoming fresher and more dynamic, but at the end it still contains the timeline along which the Lamborghini cars are placed and classified according to model and engine. An essential chapter that offers a visual overview of the models, but also of the engines and chassis thanks to the original photos and descriptions.

Not only a book with rich contents bearing the signature of Antonio Ghini, an author and famous personality who has spent his life among the most renowned and powerful engines in the world, but also a design artwork and collector's item because of its special cover inspired by the characteristic features of Lamborghini super sports cars.

DNA Lamborghini Second Edition is the only official book in the world with carbon fiber covers.

The covers are forged in an autoclave then polished and painted by hand, using the same process used for the super sports cars. This is where the work of D'ORO Collection artists and craftsmen comes into play, as they manually draw the lines and the Lamborghini shield to complete the front cover: bronze bas-reliefs made with the lost wax technique and then gilded by immersion in a 24-carat gold bath. These are not the only details in gold: the spine as well as the internal title are made with the gold leaf technique, which is typical of D’ORO books.

The result is a book that has no equals, with jewel-like covers that combine hi-tech with goldsmith techniques, enclosing more than 300 pages printed and manually sewn one by one.

Three years after the first unveiling at the Geneva Motor Show in 2019, soon the book will be available to order on the D'ORO Collection website and later on Automobili Lamborghini e-commerce.
