Lamborghini Books - Special Editions

DNA Lamborghini is the official book of Automobili Lamborghini, an exclusive 317-page publication curated by Antonio Ghini and illustrated by Mitja Borkert, Lamborghini’s Head of Design since 2016. The volume passionately traces the brand’s complete history from 1963 to the present day, including models that were never commercialised but developed to the level of industrial prototypes.

Printed in just 250 numbered copies, DNA Lamborghini is entirely handcrafted in Italy using ancient artisanal bookbinding techniques. The covers are unique in the world: made of Forged Composites®, a high-performance material used in Lamborghini supercars, and enhanced with a gilded bronze sculpture of the historic Bull emblem, dipped in 24-karat gold. The spine, bound in Arancio Leonis leather, recalls the brand’s iconic style.

The narrative is structured in three main sections.

Part One – History as a Novel (23 chapters): it narrates Lamborghini’s evolution, from Ferruccio Lamborghini’s agricultural roots to the foundation of the Sant’Agata plant and the development of legendary models such as the Miura. A compelling story of industrial ambition and international success.

Part Two – Model by Model (14 chapters): a technical and stylistic analysis of every car produced, focusing on design, performance, and concept. Each model is presented with detailed specs, exclusive photographs, and in-depth historical insights.

Part Three – Year by Year: Models and Innovations: a visual timeline that classifies all Lamborghini models – Coupé, Roadster, Racing, Off-Road – enriched with original images of engines, chassis, and technical breakthroughs.

The book concludes with a letter signed by Salvatore Giorgio Dino, founder of D’ORO Collection, as per tradition.
